Job summary

Trainee Estimator role in Gravesend, Kent, working for a well-established UK manufacturer of commercial washroom solutions. The position offers structured training, exposure to drawings, BoQs and quotations, and a path to develop estimating expertise within a collaborative team.

You will interpret project requirements, liaise with customers and internal teams, and deliver accurate quotations within timescales while developing product knowledge in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate quotations from drawings, specifications and BoQs.
• Producing new, revised and copy quotations for various project sizes and values.
• Reviewing customer requirements and interpreting project details.
• Liaising with customers and internal departments to clarify information.
• Working with Sales, CAD and Customer Service to ensure a smooth process.
• Supporting the Sales team with quotation follow-ups and chasing.
• Managing multiple enquiries and prioritising workloads to meet deadlines.
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, service delivery and responsiveness.
• Contributing to the smooth running of the estimating department and wider team support.
