Job summary

Netbox Recruitment Ltd on behalf of a well-established UK manufacturer of commercial washroom solutions is seeking a Trainee Estimator in Gravesend, Kent. The role involves developing estimating skills, interpreting project requirements, reviewing technical documentation and preparing quotations for a wide range of customer enquiries.

This position offers full training and progression within the estimating team as experience grows in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Promising organisation skills with a structured, methodical approach.
• Clear written and verbal communication to interpret customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate quotations from drawings, specs and BoQs.
• Producing new, revised and copy quotations for various project sizes.
• Interpreting customer requirements and project details accurately.
• Liaising with customers and internal departments to clarify information.
• Collaborating with Sales, CAD, Customer Service and other teams.
• Assisting the Sales team with quotation follow-ups and chasing.
• Managing multiple enquiries and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, service delivery and responsiveness.
• Supporting the estimating department and wider team as needed.
