Job summary

CTR Select based in Englefield Green is seeking a Trainee Estimator to join their team. The role is office-based, Monday to Friday, 7.30am-4pm, with a focus on learning and meeting tight deadlines.

You will support the estimating team by building quotations, reviewing tender information, and developing cost plans. You will also liaise with the estimating manager, perform labour and material take-offs, and manage multiple priorities with good IT skills, strong communication, and a professional

Responsibilities

• Utilising estimating software to build quotations
• Reviewing tender information to highlight any necessary tender clarifications
• Develop cost plans and budget estimates
• Liaising with the estimating manager and other senior personnel on current estimates and the handover of projects upon order of contract
• Carrying out labour and material take-off's
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to deal with high work volumes and prioritise accordingly
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask
• Working within a client lead role
• Reporting to the Estimating Manager
