Junior Estimator / Estimator - Architectural Metalwork & Glazing – Hatfield, Hertfordshire • Full-time • 1-5 years' experience

This is a specialist design-led business delivering architectural metalwork and glazing solutions across complex, high-performance projects. Their work combines engineering expertise with architectural craftsmanship, covering everything from bespoke steel and aluminium assemblies to precision glazing systems. What You'll Do

• Measure, price, and produce take-offs and bills of quantities
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
• Visit sites for measurements and surveys
• Support tenders and value engineering

What You Are

• Must have Metalwork AND/OR architectural glazing experience
• 1-5 years' experience in either an Estimating, Design, Commercial or Construction capacity
• Enthusiastic and ambitious — someone who is going to make this role their own
• Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Able to produce accurate take-offs and bills of quantities
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable getting out on site — the best way to learn
• A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and subcontractors
