Job summary

TDA Group is seeking a Junior M&E Estimator with an electrical bias to join our busy Project Division in Bromley. You will support the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions across mechanical and electrical building services, with a focus on electrical installations.

Based in Bromley, the role offers a competitive salary (£35,000-£40,000 per annum) and benefits. Key requirements include 3-5 years in the M&E sector, strong numerical skills, and the ability to read technical drawings

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in the building services or M&E sector.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC/plumbing basics.
• Experience assisting with M&E cost estimates, material take-offs and tender returns.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schedules.

Junior Estimator - M&E (Electrical Bias)

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum plus benefits

Location: Bromley

We are seeking a Junior M&E Estimator with an electrical bias to join our client's busy Project Division within a leading Building Services company. Based in Bromley, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a varied portfolio of projects, supporting the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions across mechanical and electrical building services, with a particular focus on electrical installations.

Key Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience within the building services or M&E sector.


• Good knowledge of electrical systems and a general understanding of mechanical services, including HVAC and plumbing.


• Experience assisting with or preparing M&E cost estimates, material take-offs and tender returns.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and schedules.


• Strong commercial awareness, numerical skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• HNC, HND or degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.


• Experience working on commercial, residential and public sector projects.


• Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software, procurement processes and tendering procedures
