Job summary

TDA Telecoms Ltd in Somerset is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its Project Division for M&E projects within a busy infrastructure environment.

Role requires 3–5 years' estimator experience in building services or M&E, with strong HVAC, electrical and plumbing knowledge, and proficiency in estimating software and MS Office. Experience across commercial, residential and public sector projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience as an estimator in the M&E/building services sector.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proven experience preparing and submitting accurate project tenders and cost plans.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Estimator - Mechanical and Electrical (M&E)

£60,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits

We are currently looking for a skilled Estimator to join our client's busy Project Division within a leading Infrastructure company based in the South West.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience as an estimator within the building services or M&E sector


• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems


• Proven experience preparing and submitting accurate project tenders and cost plans


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications


• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office


• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or a related field


• Experience working across commercial, residential, and public sector projects
