Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Estimator in Building Services or M&E.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Commercially aware with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates and tenders.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Complete detailed take-offs and cost analysis.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Produce pricing schedules and tender submissions.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to maximise project profitability.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams throughout the tender process.
• Attend tender and pre-construction meetings when required.
• Support project handovers to the delivery team following successful tender awards.

Salary: £65,000 - £68,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Package

An established and highly respected Electrical Building Services contractor based in Bromsgrove is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its growing pre-construction team.

The Role

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders for a wide range of electrical building services projects, working closely with the commercial and operational teams to secure new business and support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates and tenders.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Complete detailed take-offs and cost analysis.
