Job summary

TDA Group is seeking a Junior M&E Estimator (Electrical bias) in Bromley to join our busy Project Division within a leading Building Services company. You will gain exposure across full M&E packages, with a strong emphasis on electrical building services, supporting a wide range of projects.

We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of relevant experience, good knowledge of electrical systems, and strong numerical and commercial awareness to assist with cost estimates, take-offs, and tender

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the building services or M&E sector.
• Good working knowledge of electrical systems, with an understanding of mechanical services including HVAC and plumbing.
• Experience assisting with or producing M&E cost estimates, take-offs, and tender returns.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong commercial awareness, numerical ability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of M&E cost estimates and tender returns.
• Read and interpret M&E drawings, specifications and schedules for cost estimation.
• Assist with bid/tender processes across full M&E packages.
• Contribute with electrical bias on projects in Central London/Bromley area.

This role offers exposure across full M&E packages, with a particular emphasis on electrical building services, supporting a wide range of projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the building services or M&E sector
• Good working knowledge of electrical systems, with an understanding of mechanical services including HVAC and plumbing
• Experience assisting with or producing M&E cost estimates, take-offs, and tender returns
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Strong commercial awareness, numerical ability, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• HNC/HND or degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
• Experience working across commercial, residential, and public sector projects
• Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and procurement processes
