Job summary

TDA Telecoms in Somerset is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Project Division within a busy infrastructure team to focus on mechanical and electrical (M&E) estimating for building services projects.

You will prepare tenders, cost plans, read technical drawings, and use estimating software and MS Office. 3–5 years’ experience in M&E or building services is required; a degree in Building Services or Quantity Surveying is preferred.

Qualifications

3–5 years' estimating experience in building services or M&E
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
Proven experience preparing and submitting accurate tenders and cost plans
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficient in estimating software and MS Office

£60,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits

We are currently looking for a skilled Estimator to join our client's busy Project Division within a leading Infrastructure company based in the South West.

Requirements

Minimum of 3–5 years' experience as an estimator within the building services or M&E sector
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
Proven experience preparing and submitting accurate project tenders and cost plans
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
