Job summary

TDA Telecoms Ltd in Bromley seeks a Junior M&E Estimator with an electrical bias to join its busy Project Division. You will work across full M&E packages with a focus on electrical building services, supporting a wide range of projects.

The role requires 3–5 years in building services/M&E, knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to prepare cost estimates, take-offs and tender returns. Strong numeracy and commercial awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in building services or M&E.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems; understands HVAC and plumbing.
• Experience producing M&E cost estimates, take-offs, and tender returns.
• Ability to read M&E drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong commercial awareness and numerical ability.

We are currently seeking a Junior M&E Estimator to join our client’s busy Project Division within a leading Building Services company based in Central London. This role offers exposure across full M&E packages, with a particular emphasis on electrical building services, supporting a wide range of projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience within the building services or M&E sector
• Good working knowledge of electrical systems, with an understanding of mechanical services including HVAC and plumbing
• Experience assisting with or producing M&E cost estimates, take-offs, and tender returns
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Strong commercial awareness, numerical ability, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
• Experience working across commercial, residential, and public sector projects
• Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and procurement processes
