Job summary

Neuberger Berman is seeking a junior qualified lawyer to join the EMEA legal team, focusing on ESG rules and investment management matters. You will liaise with colleagues in the US, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan to support business operations and regulatory compliance.

In this role you will draft and review a range of legal documents, support distribution strategies, and collaborate with risk, finance and client coverage teams to manage day-to-day asset management issues across Europe, the

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years PQE in corporate/in-house or private practice.
• Experience with ESG legislation (SFDR, TCFD) is preferred.
• Familiarity with fund structures and domiciles.

Responsibilities

• Advising the business and coordinating with working groups on ESG-related laws and regulations.
• Working with the ESG team on updates to internal compliance with ESG legislation.
• Ensuring ESG rules, disclosures and DISCLAIMERS are included in legal documents.
• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing distribution agreements, IMAs, rebate agreements, confidentiality agreements and side-letters.
• Reviewing and drafting bespoke legal RFPs or marketing questions.
• Liaising with outside counsel to assist with legal agreements.
