Job summary

Red Bull Racing & Technology is seeking a Junior Electrical Systems Engineer to join our Electronics team in Milton Keynes. You’ll specify, design and install wiring harnesses for on-car and off-car systems, and support reliability and development projects to ensure peak performance.

You’ll investigate faults, maintain engineering records, support design releases, and help develop drawing standards while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• CAD routing and electrical systems installation experience.
• Mechanical installation.
• Strong design planning and task management skills.
• Ability to create and maintain engineering documentation and standards.
• Fault-finding and problem-solving within electrical/electronic systems.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design and install on-car and off-car wiring harnesses, assemblies and associated components.
• Investigate and resolve electrical system faults, ensuring issues are closed out efficiently.
• Support reliability, development and continuous improvement projects across the Electronics team.
• Monitor design releases and workflows, ensuring engineering changes are progressed effectively.
• Contribute to the development of drawing standards, design processes and departmental best practices.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and system transactions whilst ensuring high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
