Job summary

Red Bull Racing & Technology in Milton Keynes is seeking a Junior Electrical Systems Engineer to help install and integrate electrical and electronic systems across the race car and equipment, ensuring reliable performance for the team.

You will design and install wiring harnesses, investigate faults, support reliability projects, maintain records, and help develop engineering standards in a world-class motorsport environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD routing and electrical installations in automotive or mechanical environments.
• Ability to perform electrical fault-finding and problem-solving.
• Experience in creating and maintaining engineering documentation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design and install on-car and off-car wiring harnesses and assemblies.
• Investigate and resolve electrical faults, ensuring timely closure of issues.
• Support reliability, development and continuous improvement projects across Electronics.
• Monitor design releases and workflows, ensuring engineering changes progress smoothly.
• Contribute to the development of drawing standards and design processes.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and ensure health, safety and housekeeping standards.

As a Junior Electrical Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation and integration of electrical and electronic systems across our race car and associated equipment, ensuring our engineering teams have the reliable performance and functionality needed to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Specify, design and install on-car and off-car wiring harnesses, assemblies and associated components.
• Investigate and resolve electrical system faults, ensuring issues are closed out efficiently.
• Support reliability, development and continuous improvement projects across the Electronics team.
• Monitor design releases and workflows, ensuring engineering changes are progressed effectively.
• Contribute to the development of drawing standards, design processes and departmental best practices.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and system transactions whilst ensuring high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
