FX Digital is a London-based Connected TV-first and OTT app technology company. We collaborate with some of the biggest names in streaming to develop their streaming applications across smart TVs, set-top boxes, streaming sticks, and game consoles. We are proud to have worked with clients including Discovery, BritBox, ITV, and ATP Media.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Junior Digital Project Manager with experience in Agile methodologies. You will have experience in delivering excellent bespoke digital products to very happy clients. In order to keep our internal teams invigorated and delivering to a high standard, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and lead with empathy. This is also essential when building strong and friendly relationships with our partners and clients. You will be responsible for supporting and enabling team members to ideate and create to the best of their ability.

As a Junior Digital Project Manager, you will be working with development teams to deliver OTT/CTV projects to our clients. These teams are made up of developers/engineers, QA analysts, designers, product managers and you! You’ll be using your excellent communication skills to report on project progress and outcomes to the FX leadership team and our clients.

What you’ll do

Project Management

  1. Own the entire project process from conception through planning, development, QA, and final delivery, ensuring accurate specification and efficient execution of projects.
  2. Help implement our internal processes and ceremonies to ensure the effective delivery of projects.
  3. Get involved in the gathering of requirements and collate briefs on new projects. Create estimates, project plans, SOWs, CRs, functional specs, invoices, and all other project documentation.
  4. Communicate project details and deadlines clearly within the delivery team, reporting to all internal project stakeholders.
  5. Report on the progress and outcomes of projects to the Head of Project Management, including financial performance and forecasting.
  6. Report to the Head of Project Management on team performance, wellbeing and strengths/opportunities.
  7. Attend training and events to ensure continued self-improvement.

Account Direction

  2. Problem solve and manage any challenges through to a positive outcome.
  3. Deliver projects that meet customer requirements and exceed expectations.

Business Development

  1. Keep an ear to the ground for any business opportunity that might be of interest to the business – both with existing clients and new ones.
  2. Help respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) by working with relevant team members where needed.

Team Leadership

  1. Be a figure of respect within the FX team, able to motivate, energise and invigorate the team to promote collaboration, effort and delivery across all departments.
  2. Support the ongoing improvement of processes where improvement needs are identified.
  3. Contribute constructively to and sometimes lead brainstorms and idea sessions, concepting, and mocks creation for pitch decks as necessary.

Must have skills/experience

  1. Project management experience in an agency environment working in collaboration with creative and technical teams (designers, product, developers, engineers, QA analysts).
  2. Demonstrable experience writing essential digital PM documentation and governance, such as Project Plans, Functional Specs, SoWs, and Change Requests.
  3. An understanding of how technical aspects of digital projects work and the ability to translate these actions into clear, understandable terms for team members and clients alike.
  4. Delivery experience with varied budgets and team sizes.
  5. Effective communication and expectation management with clients and team members.
  6. Ability to stay calm and prioritise in times of tight deadlines and conflicting demands.
  7. Experience in building long-standing client relationships and an intense desire to impress clients all day, every day.

Desirable

  1. Experience building/delivering OTT/TV products.
  2. Familiarity with industry tools like Gitlab, JIRA, Miro, and Notion.
  3. A prolific Slack-er!
  4. An appetite to facilitate workshops/present to clients, prospective and existing.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent planning and organisational skills.

This is a full-time role based out of our Old Street, London office. We can only consider applicants who can work 3 days per week from the office.
