Job summary

Shivom Consultancy Ltd. in Central London is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic project team. You will help manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure and support a key customer platform, with hybrid working and occasional travel to data centers.

You will collaborate with colleagues to implement solutions, provide day-to-day operations support, and participate in an out-of-hours production rota. UK SC Clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• In-depth hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience implementing on-premises cloud/VMware environments.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• GitLab for version control and automation.
• Programming or scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Solid GNU/Linux knowledge with Windows Server 2016 (ADFS/ADCS/ADDS).
• Good understanding of IP networking and data-center setups.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design, build, and maintain infrastructure solutions.
• Manage cloud and on-premises environments and ensure smooth operations.
• Support day-to-day platform operations and resolve issues promptly.
• Participate in the scheduled out-of-hours production support rota.
• Travel to data centers and offices as required (3-4 times per month).
