SmartSearch in Leeds is looking for a Junior Developer to enhance their Anti-Money Laundering software. This role involves developing new features, debugging, and collaborating in Agile teams to meet performance targets. Responsibilities

• Evolve our current platform by developing new features and enhancing existing ones.
• Identify and resolve any issues to ensure smooth functionality.

• Participate in peer code reviews with clear explanations.
• Investigate and track down bugs, creating resolutions.
• Accurately record issues, features, and business requirements.
• Adapt to working with multiple priorities that can change regularly.
• Actively participate in team sessions such as Backlog Refinements, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives etc.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

As a Junior Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our AML Web application. You will work in a cross‑functional team to enhance the application's functionality and ensure it meets industry standards. Your primary tasks will include writing clean, maintainable code and ensuring that performance targets are consistently met or exceeded.
