Axter Limited in Ipswich is seeking a Junior Design Technician to support the Design Team by preparing, managing and controlling flat roof design information. This is an entry-level role focused on CAD, design data and project information within Salesforce and Common Data Environments.

You will learn about Axter systems, build-ups and project requirements while developing skills in CAD drawing production, document control and collaboration with engineers and sales teams.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production and amendment of CAD drawings.

• Help prepare drawing packs and detail information for review and issue.

• Manage drawings, documents and project information through agreed systems (e.g., Salesforce, CDE).

• Keep submissions, approvals and revisions accurate and traceable.

• Support Design Technicians with defined parts of the design process.

• Help reduce errors, missing information, delays and rework.

• Develop knowledge of flat roof systems and technical design information.
