Junior Design Technician

Orion is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Design Technician to join our client's dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about design engineering to work on innovative projects within the built environment sector. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, and technical support of bespoke interior systems, contributing to high-profile construction and architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Use AutoCAD 2D, Inventor, and Revit to create detailed design drawings and models.
2. Attend factory visits and project meetings to understand manufacturing processes and project requirements.
3. Conduct site surveys to assess installation conditions and gather design data.
4. Collaborate with and support other members of the Design Team.
5. Manage personal workload effectively, demonstrating strong time and resource management skills.
6. Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
7. Assist site installation teams by providing accurate technical guidance.
8. Represent the company positively on-site and in client-facing situations.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, Inventor, or Revit.
• Qualification: OND Mechanical Design or equivalent in Architecture.
