Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist for a 12-month onsite contract in Desford, UK. You will design dashboards, prepare data, and deliver analytics to support procurement decisions.

Ideal candidates have a degree in a related field and hands-on experience with SQL, Python or R, plus Power BI or Tableau for visualization. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for cross-functional work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Strong SQL and Python or R proficiency.
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and MS Office/PowerApps.
Clear communication and ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain live dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Extract, clean, and analyze datasets from internal systems using SQL, EDFL, and Power Query.
Utilize DAX formulas within Power BI to enhance data measurement and meet requirements.
Create and format secure data structures using SharePoint, Snowflake, and PowerApps.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
Document processes and train non-technical stakeholders on data tools.
