Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Data Scientist for a leading multi-national Manufacturing client based in Desford. This is an initial 12-month contract on site, working five days a week with typical hours from 08:00 to 16:00 and a flexible start window between 07:00 and 16:00.

The role requires 3–5 years’ experience in Python, R or SQL, strong data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau), and proficiency with PowerApps, SharePoint and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data science or a related role.
• Proficiency in Python, R or SQL.
• Strong data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience with PowerApps, SharePoint and Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain dashboards and reports for the team.
• Create, clean and analyse datasets using reliable data capture methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Extract information from internal systems using SQL or EDFL for Power BI inputs.
• Develop lean data processes and data structures in internal systems.
