Job summary

CareTech is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to support the Commercial team. This permanently remote role (37.5 hours a week) offers exposure to supplier spend, fleet and workforce data, with quarterly head office meetings and occasional UK site visits.

You will cleanse, validate and prepare data, extend Power BI dashboards, develop Excel financial models and produce ad-hoc reports, while applying GDPR principles to all data handling.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of data experience in commercial/finance/operational roles.
• Strong Excel skills with lookups, pivots and formulas, aiming for financial modelling.
• Intermediate VBA for macro writing and data processing tasks.
• Exposure to Power BI; basic DAX and data modelling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Cleanses, validates and prepares data from supplier spend, fleet, workforce and finance sources.
• Maintains and extends Power BI dashboards and supports new builds.
• Populates and quality-controls Excel-based financial models (cost models, savings trackers, scenario analysis).
• Produces recurring commercial reports and responds to ad-hoc data requests from internal stakeholders.
• Applies a GDPR-first approach to all data involving service users, staff or suppliers.
