NES Fircroft are recruiting a Junior Cost Controller for our energy client, based in the Middlesbrough office. This is a six-month inside IR35 contract, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with potential for extension.

The role supports project management through cost estimation, budgeting, and contract financial reporting across professional services and supply contracts. Occasional travel within Teesside and to Inverness may be required.

Formación

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Data analysis and budgeting experience helpful.
• Meticulous attention to reporting accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsabilidades

• Estimate quantities and costs of materials, labour, and time.
• Develop cost plans and budgets.
• Monitor costs and identify potential overruns.
• Advise on cost-cutting measures and value engineering.
• Oversee subcontractors' payments and invoicing.
• Prepare cost and progress reports.
