Job summary

Rullion Ltd. is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to support major infrastructure, defence and construction projects across the UK. You will monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost reports, working with project managers and finance teams to drive performance.

The role offers UK-wide opportunities, exposure to EVM, NEC contracts, and cost-control software, with a collaborative project controls environment and potential for progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Cost Control or a similar project controls role.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and cost performance reporting.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in infrastructure, defence, construction or engineering projects (desirable).
• Familiarity with cost control software and NEC contracts (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, commitments, expenditure and forecasts.
• Maintain cost control systems, records and reporting procedures.
• Prepare cost reports, accruals and financial forecasts.
• Analyse cost variances, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance reporting.
• Work closely with project managers, finance and commercial teams.
• Support change control, cost assurance and budget management.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost control processes and reporting.
