Job description

At Amplifi, we know that our people are our biggest asset; therefore, we are committed to hiring individuals who can embrace and embody our culture. We are conscious of creating a diverse and inclusive team and want to hire people into Amplifi who we can empower and progress. We acknowledge that you may not meet every single requirement on the advert, but we encourage you to apply or reach out to one of the team members, as many of us did not start our careers at Amplifi as experts.

WHO WE ARE:

Amplifi is the go-to data consultancy for enterprise organizations that want their success to be driven by data. We empower our customers to innovate, grow, and succeed by establishing and delivering strategies across all elements of the data value chain.

From data governance and management to analytics and automation, our integrated approach to modern data ecosystems delivers measurable results through a combination of expert consultancy and best-in-breed technology.

Amplifi Europe has a presence in the UK and Denmark, covering the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe.

THE ROLE:

Are you ready to kickstart your career and grow with a dynamic team? We’re looking for Academy Consultants to join us and help shape our future together. Whether you're finishing university or seeking a career change, this is a perfect opportunity for a hands-on learning journey. You’ll gain exposure to various projects, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our business while exploring your ideal role — whether that’s as an Application Consultant (technical), Technical Business Consultant, or Data Consultant.

Our past Academy graduates come from diverse backgrounds — graduates, bar managers, contract administrators — and share a passion for learning and data. We value transferable skills and, above all, seek individuals with the drive to grow, learn, and contribute to our talented team.

This is just the first step in your career with Amplifi. Your responsibilities will evolve based on your projects and personal development.

WHAT YOU'LL BE GETTING UP TO:

The Academy supports entry-level applicants and is guided by our Head of Learning and Development to ensure your growth. You’ll begin with an exciting, fast-paced learning phase, including classroom training and self-paced study, laying the foundation before engaging in hands-on placements on live projects. You’ll work with experienced consultants, gain real-world insights, and contribute to client projects, all while following your personalized development plan that will shape your future role with us.

Your tasks will vary by project but may include implementing new Master Data Management or Product Information Management solutions, enhancing existing systems, generating data quality reports, assisting with data migration, or working on data strategy or Microsoft Fabric projects.

Consulting projects evolve based on client needs, so flexibility is essential. Your role may shift as new challenges arise, and responsibilities could expand beyond the initial scope. We will match you to projects aligned with your skills and experience, ensuring you’re never asked to undertake tasks outside your expertise. Your journey with us will be dynamic and rewarding.

WHAT WE'D LIKE YOU TO BRING:
  • Keen to apply transferable skills gained during your degree or relevant experiences
  • Passionate about data and working in a fast-paced team/project
  • Organized
  • Proactive, eager to learn continuously, and apply new knowledge to projects
  • Confident communicator with diverse teams
  • Experience organizing events or societies
  • Ability to capture and document requirements

You may also demonstrate some of the points below:

  • Knowledge of Data Management
  • Requirements gathering
  • Research skills
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Business or Process Analysis
  • Learning and applying new technologies
  • Supporting or leading elements of client or internal projects
INTERVIEW PROCESS:

If you are interested in applying, please submit a cover letter along with your CV.

Interviews will be held during the weeks beginning June 16th or June 23rd, aiming for the successful candidate to start in the first week of August. The process will include group tasks and a brief individual interview, conducted informally to match our culture. It’s a great chance to meet various team members, including those who have been through the Academy in recent years.

These sessions will take place at our office in Leamington Spa and will last about half a day.

WHAT WE WILL OFFER YOU:
  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Private medical cover through Vitality (including weekly Café Nero drinks, cinema tickets, Apple Watch, Amazon Prime, and more)
  • Life cover through Vitality
  • No dress code
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption leave
  • Company away days
  • Work from anywhere allowance
  • Choice of Mac or Windows laptop
  • Free Headspace app for 1 year
