Job summary

Objective Corporation seeks a Junior Cloud Operations Engineer in Reading to help build and maintain cloud systems on AWS and Azure. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience with deployments, monitoring, and incident response.

You’ll learn to configure cloud infrastructure, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and develop observability practices while documenting processes to support rapid incident resolution.

Qualifications

Familiarity with AWS or Azure services (EC2, S3, Azure VMs).
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
Degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers to build and maintain cloud systems.
Automate deployments and monitor services.
Configure and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
Set up CI/CD pipelines and improve best practices.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident management.
Improve observability and detect issues quickly.
Document processes and share knowledge.
