Job summary

St John’s College in Cambridge is seeking two Junior Chef de Partie to support the Executive Chef with providing meals for the College and maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and food safety.

The role is permanent, 39.25 hours per week on a rota across 7 days with alternating weekends; the package includes a defined contributory pension, 36 days’ annual leave, health plan, free lunch, gym access and parking.

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a busy kitchen and on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef with meal preparation for the College.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen.
• Work on a rota across 7 days with alternating weekends.

St John’s College, one of the largest Colleges within the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint two Junior Chef de Partie's to assist the Executive Chef with providing meals for the College and maintaining standards of work and cleanliness in the kitchen.
