Job summary

Atlas Copco in Deeside, United Kingdom, is seeking a Junior Buyer to join a fast-paced manufacturing procurement team. You will manage purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.

You will gain exposure to ERP/MRP systems, Excel, and evolving AI-enabled analytics. This role suits those with 1–3 years in purchasing, a continuous improvement mindset, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing/supply chain.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP and Excel.
• Exposure to manufacturing is desirable.
• Interest in AI tools for analysis/automation.

As a Junior Buyer, your mission is to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment, manage purchasing activities and contribute to a world-class Procurement function. You will be agile, resilient, and driven, ensuring continuity of supply while developing your procurement expertise.

You Will

• Manage purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems
• Expedite deliveries and manage supplier performance
• Support RFQs and cost reduction initiative
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement
