Job summary

Atlas Copco Holding GmbH is seeking a Junior Buyer to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment and strengthen our procurement function. You will manage purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and assist with RFQs while driving continuous improvement.

Hybrid UK role (Deeside). You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, gain ERP/MRP and Excel experience, and pursue CIPS qualifications to develop your procurement career.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing/supply chain.
• ERP/MRP and Excel proficiency.
• Interest in CIPS qualification.
• Exposure to manufacturing desirable.
• Experience or interest in AI tools for analysis/automation.
• Strong communicator.

As a Junior Buyer, your mission is to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment, manage purchasing activities and contribute to a world-class Procurement function. You will be agile, resilient, and driven, ensuring continuity of supply while developing your procurement expertise.

You will:

• Manage purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems
• Expedite deliveries and manage supplier performance
• Support RFQs and cost reduction initiative
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement
