Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. is seeking a Junior Buyer to support a fast-paced manufacturing procurement function. You will manage orders, expedite deliveries, and assist with RFQs to drive cost reductions.

This role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and suppliers to maintain continuity of supply while developing procurement expertise. With 1–3 years in purchasing or supply chain, you should be proficient in ERP/MRP and Excel, and you should be agile, resilient, and highly organized.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
• Exposure to manufacturing environment desirable.
• Interest in AI tools for analysis/automation.
• Agile and resilient; highly organized with attention to detail.

As a Junior Buyer, your mission is to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment, manage purchasing activities and contribute to a world-class Procurement function. You will be agile, resilient, and driven, ensuring continuity of supply while developing your procurement expertise.

You will:

Manage purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems

Expedite deliveries and manage supplier performance

Support RFQs and cost reduction initiative

Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers

Identify risks and drive continuous improvement

You have 1 - 3 years of experience, working in purchasing/supply chain, ideally with:

• ERP/MRP and Excel proficiency
• Exposure to manufacturing (desirable)
• Experience or interest in AI tools for analysis/automation
• Agile and resilient
• Highly organised with attention to detail
• Team player with drive to develop
