Job Description:

The job holder will support the UK Power Trading teams by translating business strategies into actionable roadmaps, focusing on Renewables, Short Term Trading, and Dispatch. The role involves understanding commercial objectives and driving growth and innovation in power trading.

Your responsibilities:

1. Understand UK commercial trading strategies and contribute to technology and IT focus.
2. Assist in creating the Technology Roadmap aligned with the CT30 Strategy.
3. Manage business change for strategic projects, including prioritization and scope management.
4. Lead program and project management of large IT initiatives.
5. Coordinate with CTG leads on prioritization and financial planning for IT projects.
6. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
7. Define project delivery methodologies and governance with stakeholders.
8. Lead teams responsible for requirements gathering, system design, testing, and implementation, including infrastructure requests.
9. Negotiate with key commercial areas to understand business strategies and impacts on the Technology Roadmap.
10. Collaborate with project management teams to improve delivery capabilities.

Your profile:

• Strong academic background, likely with graduate education.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to build effective relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
• Good financial and commercial awareness.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multi-million, multi-year IT projects in the energy sector.
• Commercial experience in the Power Sector.
