Job summary

Diverse Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Business Analyst (Process Mapping) for a fully remote role. You will work with business stakeholders to map current processes, design future-state workflows, and document SOPs, while aligning design with product and project goals.

The ideal candidate has proven BA experience focused on process design, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently with support from a dedicated consultant.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, pain points, and objectives.
• Design and document business processes (current-state and future-state), including process maps, workflows, and SOPs.
• Partner with product and project teams to align process design with system and product capability, without owning the system/technical knowledge itself.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with business and process/product colleagues to gather requirements and validate process designs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, and standardisation.
• Clearly communicate process designs, findings, and recommendations to both business and technical audiences.
• Support the transition and embedding of new or revised processes into business-as-usual operations.

Junior Business Analyst (Process Mapping)

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, pain points, and objectives
• Design and document business processes (current-state and future-state), including process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures
• Partner with product and project teams to align process design with system and product capability, without owning the system/technical knowledge itself
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with business and process/product colleagues to gather requirements and validate process designs
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, and standardisation
• Clearly communicate process designs, findings, and recommendations to both business and technical audiences
• Support the transition and embedding of new or revised processes into business-as-usual operations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on business process design (not purely systems/technical analysis)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate business needs clearly for both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable working with business colleagues, product owners, and project teams
• Structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and process design
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables with minimal process-team support
