Job summary

BPA - British Pipeline Agency Limited is looking for a capable recent graduate or early-career professional to join its bids, proposals, commercial support or business development function in Hemel Hempstead. You will gain hands-on experience across the full bid lifecycle, collaborating with technical and commercial teams to shape high-quality client submissions.

You will develop bid writing, project coordination and stakeholder management skills while progressing within a commercial environment

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified or equivalent in business, commercial, marketing or communications.
• Strong written communication and ability to produce clear documents.
• Good organisation, deadline management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bid and proposal activities from initial opportunity review through submission.
• Maintain bid plans, action trackers and document registers.
• Coordinate internal reviews and ensure submissions meet BPA procedures.
• Manage document control, version tracking and QA checks.
• Prepare, format and edit tender responses, PQQs and proposals.
• Draft, edit and proofread content for clarity and professional tone.
• Develop content with SMEs and maintain proposal libraries.
• Support BPA's sales pipeline and track bid KPIs.
