Job summary

DNEG is seeking a junior AV Assistant to join our Technology team in a busy, onsite studio environment. You will support the AV Specialist in day‑to‑day audio-visual tasks and help ensure smooth client screenings and dailies.

You’ll be the first point of contact for AV queries, perform routine checks, and assist with meetings and events. A proactive, detail‑oriented approach and a calm client-facing manner are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in audio-visual systems and equipment.
• Some hands-on editing experience and a good working knowledge of post-production workflows.
• A professional and polished manner when dealing with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to person for day-to-day AV issues and queries from staff.
• Carry out regular checks on AV systems and spaces to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic AV faults, escalating more complex issues to the AV Specialist.
• Assist with the setup and support of meetings and onsite events.
• Support client screenings and dailies, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from start to finish.
• Manage and handle DCPs for screening sessions.
• Operate our in-house screening software, XStudio.
• Help maintain AV equipment and keep spaces tidy and presentable.
• Support the AV Specialist on projects and installations as required.
