Job summary

Red King Resourcing is seeking an entry-level Audio Visual (AV) Engineer for a project-based role. You will assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining AV systems, gaining hands-on experience with the latest technologies.

This role offers a pathway to develop technical skills and grow within the AV industry, with travel to various client sites as required and the opportunity to learn from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of AV systems and components is advantageous.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and racking of AV equipment such as projectors, speakers, and video conferencing devices.
• Handle cabling tasks including running and terminating HDMI, Ethernet, and USB cables.
• Set up and configure AV connections for displays and control devices.
• Troubleshoot and maintain AV systems to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues.
• Support senior engineers with testing, configuration and QA.
• Conduct site surveys to determine AV requirements and assist in design of solutions.
• Stay updated on AV technologies and industry trends.
