Job summary

The Lensbury, part of Iconic Hotels and Resorts, is seeking a qualified Junior Activities Assistant to create a safe, welcoming and engaging setting for our youngest members. You will supervise play, support children’s wellbeing and ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed.

• Experience in a similar role.
• Passion for creating great experiences for children and their families.
• Willing to undertake safeguarding training and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic administrative tasks (registers, equipment checks).
• Maintain confidentiality in safeguarding and Data Protection regulations.
• Report welfare concerns to Junior Activities Coordinator or Child Welfare Officer.
• Follow health and safety regulations and club policies.
• Keep environment clean, safe and hazard-free.
• Be prepared for emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with Lensbury standards.
• Communicate professionally with parents, guardians and colleagues.
• Carry out additional duties as required.
