Job summary

J.P. Morgan in London seeks a JPY Trader Associate to market-make JPY interest rate swaps and manage a risk portfolio within Global Rates. You will work closely with Sales and Trading desks to deliver seamless execution and build the JPY franchise.

You will cover the JPY STIRT book, identify opportunities in G10 currencies, and lead desk-pricing improvements while collaborating with clients on market developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of rates markets and macro dynamics.
• Trading experience in interest rates is preferred.
• Ability to prioritise tasks under time pressure.
• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Market-make JPY interest rate swaps and cross-currency basis, covering the JPY STIRT book.
• Identify and pursue risk-taking opportunities across G10 currencies.
• Collaborate with traders on other currencies and cover additional books as required.
• Lead initiatives to improve desk pricing and efficiency.
• Engage with clients to discuss market developments and support growth of the JPY franchise.
