Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Joinery Foreman for a permanent role in Bradford, delivering retrofit/energy efficiency upgrades to tenanted social housing. You will lead the joinery team on site, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to programme and budget.

The role requires SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid tickets, plus Level 3/4 Site Supervision qualifications. A van and fuel card, pension and bonus are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required; training can be organised if experience is proven.
• Level 3 or 4 Site Supervision qualification required.
• Proven track record delivering refurbishment schemes; roofing experience is a plus.
• CV should show stable and progressive career history.

Responsibilities

• Supervise tradesmen and subcontractors to meet quality standards.
• Ensure health and safety across the works and promote H&S culture.
• Order materials and manage site logistics to keep on programme.

Job description

We are working with a well established and longstanding Social Housing Contractor who have a great company culture and ethos. The company get regular repeat business from their clients, and have a great reputation due to the quality of work they deliver. They specialise in retrofit/energy efficiency upgrades to tenanted social housing properties across the country.

They are seeking a Joinery Foreman to join them on a permanent basis, working on retrofit/energy efficiency upgrades work to tenanted Social Housing properties on a site in Bradford. Work will include - door undercuts, trickle vent blocking, drilling core holes etc.

You will be reporting into a Project Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising tradesman and sub-contractors to ensure work is being completed to a high standard of quality, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team.
• Ordering materials

Experience needed:

SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets are ideally required but the company can also organise relevant training as long as the successful candidate has the correct experience, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Refurbishment schemes, ideally with some roofing experience. You must also have a Level 3 or 4 Site Supervision qualification.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is up to £40k plus van and fuel card and other benefits (pension, bonus etc.)
