Job summary

Honeyman Developments Ltd is seeking an experienced Working Foreman with a strong joinery background to oversee projects on site. The role involves hands-on management, coordinating trades, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have SMSTS or SSSTS, a valid CSCS card, and proven leadership and communication abilities. Own tools and transport are beneficial, and you will report directly to Project Managers.

Job description

Honeyman Developments Ltd is looking for an experienced Working Foreman, preferably from a joinery background, to join our team on up and coming projects.

The successful candidate will take a hands-on role while overseeing the day-to-day running of the site and reporting directly to our Project Managers.

Key responsibilities:

• Carrying out joinery and general construction duties
• Coordinating trades and daily site activities
• Ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standard
• Reporting progress and any site issues to the Project Managers
• Keeping all site paperwork accurate and up to date
• Completing daily site records, inductions and toolbox talks
• Monitoring health and safety compliance
• Assisting with deliveries, materials and programme requirements
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised site
• Previous experience as a Working Foreman or Site Supervisor
• Preferably from a strong joinery background
• A valid SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
• A valid CSCS card
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Own tools and transport
