Job summary

Asper Recruitment is seeking a Senior CAD draughtsman/technician for a joinery-focused client in the Huntingdon area. You will use AutoCAD to develop joinery drawings from client briefs and site surveys through to manufacturing and assembly.

The role requires high proficiency in AutoCAD and experience producing precise workshop drawings and cutting lists for bespoke furniture or joinery projects. You will work with manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy from concept to installation.

Qualifications

• Experience as CAD technician in joinery environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for precise joinery/workshop drawings.
• Ability to produce accurate cutting lists from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce joinery drawings from initial client briefs and site surveys through to manufacturing and assembly.
• Create precise workshop drawings and cutting lists for bespoke furniture or joinery projects.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure drawings reflect on-site requirements.

My client are looking to recruit for a Senior CAD draughtsman/technician.

Applicants will need to have knowledge of AutoCAD and joinery detailing.

My client are looking for an experienced joinery draughtsman, who is capable of producing Joinery drawings right the way from initial client briefs/site surveys through to manufacturing and assembly.

The candidate must be trained and proficient in the use of AutoCAD and is able to produce precise Joinery/workshop drawings and accurate cutting lists.

To be considered for this role you will need to have previous work experience as a CAD technician in the Joinery environment.

Candidates will need to demonstrate the following:
