Job summary

Asper Recruitment in Mansfield is seeking a skilled design technician to interpret architectural drawings and 3D visuals, and to translate them into precise 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD or SolidWorks. The role requires at least two years in a similar position, a strong grasp of design for manufacture, and a solid understanding of joinery and manufacturing processes. Once drawings are approved, you will prepare and book them for production on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Ability to read architectural drawings and convert to a working document.

Job description

The appropriate candidate will be working in the design department interpreting technical drawings / 3D visuals from Architects, and then producing technical 2D/3D drawings through AutoCAD/SOLIDWORKS. Once approved, all information is to then be booked out onto the shop floor to prepare for manufacturing.

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

Proficient in AutoCAD OR Solidworks.

Requirements:
