Job summary

VanRath is seeking a skilled joiner to work on refurbishment projects in Belfast, transforming void properties into lettable homes within social housing. You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality joinery and building works, ensuring projects meet lettable standards.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery, experience in social housing refurbishments, and a full UK driving licence. You will collaborate with trades, maintain safety, and complete documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry and Joinery.
• Experience in social housing refurbishments or similar environments.
• Knowledge of building regulations, lettable standards, and health & safety procedures.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, adaptable, and works well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete all types of joinery works such as kitchen installs, door hanging, skirting, architraves, flooring, and window repairs
• Ensure void properties meet lettable standards prior to handover
• Collaborate with other trades to deliver cohesive refurbishments
• Maintain high safety standards and uphold company procedures
• Accurately complete job documentation and report any issues promptly
• Support the maintenance of tools and van stock
