Job summary

VanRath Search & Selection is recruiting a skilled Joiner (Social Housing) for Warrenpoint, Northern Ireland. You will contribute to essential maintenance and repairs in social housing properties and work within a dynamic team.

We require a trade apprenticeship with joinery experience (2nd fix preferred), plus capabilities in first/second fix joinery, tiling, flooring and kitchen fitting. A clean driving licence is essential, and a fire door qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Trade apprenticeship completed with joinery experience.
• Experience in first and second fix joinery, tiling, flooring, and kitchen fitting.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Knowledge of working at heights or roof repairs is desirable.
• Experience on maintenance contracts or construction industry preferred.
• Fire door qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance inside social housing properties to high standards.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company protocols.
• Participate in a call-out rota providing responsive repair services.
• Accurately measure, report, and complete necessary documentation.
• Travel across Northern Ireland, mainly within Greater Belfast and County Down.
• Inspect fire doors and carry out minor installation work as required.
