Job summary

Rentokil Initial Group in Lincoln is seeking a Joiner Technician to deliver work on domestic and commercial projects, including first and second fix joinery and flooring renewals. You will support preservation works, damp proofing, and timber treatments while delivering excellent customer service on site.

Requirements include a full UK driving licence (2+ years), on-site joinery experience, and a preferred NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery. A DBS check may be required for some roles.

Qualifications

• On-site joinery experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills essential.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix joinery, including replacing decayed joists and flooring, and renew skirting boards.
• Perform preservation works on site such as replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves and windows.
• Support damp proofing and removal of coatings; woodworm treatments and cavity drain membrane installation.
• Perform wood treatments and provide advice to customers while ensuring high service standards.
• Adhere to risk assessments and health & safety measures on-site; keep sites clean and tidy.
• Complete other tasks within the branch as required.
