Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is seeking a Joiner (Temporary) within Building Services. The ideal candidate will have SVQ Level 3 Joiner Apprenticeship or equivalent and demonstrated joinery experience across diverse settings.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential. Applicants should be flexible to changing work demands, hold a valid driving licence, and have asbestos awareness experience desirable but not required; CSCS Grade Card is preferable but

Renfrewshire Councils, Building Services is looking to recruit Joiners.

It is essential you have SVQ Level 3 of Joiner Apprenticeship, or equivalent.

You will have experience of Joinery and associated works across a wide variety of different areas with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Effective communication and written skills with the ability to communicate at all levels is also essential.

You must have the ability to work with a wide range of people, adjust to changes in work demands at short notice and be flexible and able to facilitate fluctuating work.

You may also undertake associated works across in other trade skills by multi skilling.

Driving Licence is essential.

Asbestos awareness experience is desirable but not essential as is Current CSCS Grade Card, or equivalent but cannot be accepted in place of qualifications.
