Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is seeking a Joiner (Temporary) within Building Services. The ideal candidate will have SVQ Level 3 Joiner Apprenticeship or equivalent and demonstrated joinery experience across diverse settings.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential. Applicants should be flexible to changing work demands, hold a valid driving licence, and have asbestos awareness experience desirable but not required; CSCS Grade Card is preferable but

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 Joiner Apprenticeship or equivalent is essential.
• Experience of joinery and associated works across diverse areas.
• Effective communication and written skills at all levels.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing work demands at short notice.
• Driving Licence is essential.
• Asbestos awareness experience is desirable but not essential; CSCS Grade Card or equivalent cannot substitute qualifications.
