Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council recruiting experienced Joiners to support delivery of works programmes within Building Services in East Kilbride. You will carry out all Joinery tasks including refurbishment and maintenance across both commercial and domestic properties.

You must be time-served with SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in joinery, and demonstrate sound health and safety practices, effective communication, and ability to work to targets and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Time-served joiner with trade qualifications (SVQ3/City & Guilds).
• Experience in refurbishment and maintenance across varied properties.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Joinery tasks including refurbishment and maintenance works.
• Work across public buildings and schools as required.
• Ensure work targets and timescales are met with quality workmanship.
