Job summary

BRS Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Joiner to work on a Preston site, focused on the installation and fitting of fire doors. You will install doors and frames, fit ironmongery, and ensure compliance with specifications and health and safety rules.

Duties will include:

• Installing and fitting fire doors and frames
• Carrying out remedial and adjustment works where required
• Fitting ironmongery, including hinges, closers and door furniture
• Ensuring fire doors are fitted correctly and in line with relevant specifications
• Working to a high standard of finish
• Following site health and safety procedures
• Working independently and as part of a wider site team

Requirements:

• Previous experience fitting and installing fire doors
• Valid CSCS card
• Relevant fire door qualifications/accreditations are desirable
• Own tools and full PPEGood attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard
• Reliable and able to work independently
