Job summary

BRS Construction Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Joiner to work on a project in Preston, carrying out the installation and fitting of fire doors.

The role requires a valid CSCS card and proven experience in fitting fire doors, with own tools and full PPE. You will work both independently and as part of a wider site team, ensuring high finish and compliance with safety procedures.

Desirable qualifications in fire door accreditation are welcomed by the client.

Qualifications

• Prev experience fitting and installing fire doors.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Fire door qualifications/accreditations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installing and fitting fire doors and frames.
• Carrying out remedial and adjustment works where required.
• Fitting ironmongery, including hinges, closers and door furniture.
• Ensuring fire doors are fitted correctly and in line with relevant specifications.
• Working to a high standard of finish.
• Following site health and safety procedures.
• Working independently and as part of a wider site team.
