Job summary

Core Group is looking for an experienced Fire Door Joiner to work on a construction project in Leicester. You will install fire doors and door sets, hang frames and fit ironmongery.

A valid CSCS card is required, with proven fire door installation experience and a good understanding of site health and safety. You will work from drawings, complete remedial tasks, and record works where required.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Proven fire door installation experience.
• Good knowledge of fire door components and installation.
• Able to work accurately and independently.
• 2 checkable references.
• Good understanding of site health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Installing fire doors and door sets
• Hanging doors and fitting frames
• Installing hinges, handles, closers and other ironmongery
• Installing intumescent strips and smoke seals
• Adjusting and repairing fire doors
• Ensuring doors are correctly fitted and operate properly
• Working from drawings and specifications
• Completing remedial and snagging works
• Recording completed works where required

FIRE DOOR JOINER

Location: Leicester

Rate: £220-£230 DOE

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 / 8 hours paid

CSCS: Required

Start Date: 28 September, 2026
