Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a Joiner for a full-time position in Long Bennington. The role involves multi-trade joinery work, installation and repair of doors, windows and cabinets, and some minor plumbing tasks. A valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Joinery or equivalent.
• CSCS card required and health & safety basics.
• Proven joinery experience including installation & repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-trade joinery tasks to a high standard.
• Install and fit joinery components such as locks, handles, hinges.
• Measure, cut and assemble wood/metal for doors, windows, cabinets.
• Repair damaged joinery items like skirting, stairs, and kitchen units.
• Assist with minor plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders on time.
• Maintain records of work and materials used.

Equans is looking for a Joiner to join our team in Long Bennington.

What will you deliver?

• Carry out various multi trade tasks to a high standard as instructed by the company.
• Install and fit joinery components including locks, handles, hinges, and fittings
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood, composite, or metal components to construct or repair doors, windows, cabinets, and other joinery items
• Repair or replace damaged joinery components such as skirting boards, staircases, and kitchen units
• Assist with minor plumbing tasks such as repairing leaks, replacing taps, and fixing plumbing fixtures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders within specified timelines
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Who are we looking for?

• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Joinery or equivalent.
• Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in Construction
• Proven experience in joinery work including installation and repair.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems related to joinery.
• Knowledge of joinery materials, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Previous experience in a similar multiskilled role within the construction or property maintenance sector.
• Full UK Drivers Licence
